Dates for end of 2018 and early 2019
Greg has sent an email! And within that email he says please take note of these notable dates for forthcoming sessions: 18/12/18 - Session with carols. We'll have tunes, but we'll sing a few carols too. Maybe some mince pies. 25/12/18 - We'll all be busy elsewhere. 1/1/19 - Most of use will be recovering. VERY unlikely to be a session. 8/1/19 - First session of the new year 12/1/19 - WASSAIL EVENT at the Brunel Museum Keep an eye on the Facebook group, but starting at 6:30pm

We are Moving! Last Session at The Hood ever on 22nd December 2015!
Just a note to let you all know that Tuesday 22nd December will be the last ever Greentrad folk session at the Lord Hood in Greenwich! Tall Ships Festival, Greenwich
After a quiet summer with many GreenTrad members away at folk festivals, we welcomed in September by playing at the Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival. Our repertoire of sea and water-related tunes includes Midnight on the Water, Jacky Tar, Salmon Tails Up the River, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Newcastle, and many, many more. 'Keepers of the Tunes' is a short documentary taking a look at London's only weekly english folk session, which takes place every Tuesday night at The Lord Hood, a traditional south east London pub. During the video, session regulars discuss their love for the music and why the session is so important. Billy's film premier at the session tonight!
Billy Dudley's film on The GreenTrad session will be premiered live at the Lord Hood tonight at 9pm! The film is dedicated to Pete Gibson, so we are hoping some of his family may make it.
