Tall Ships Festival, Greenwich
After a quiet summer with many GreenTrad members away at folk festivals, we welcomed in September by playing at the Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Festival. Our repertoire of sea and water-related tunes includes Midnight on the Water, Jacky Tar, Salmon Tails Up the River, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Newcastle, and many, many more.
Thanks to Cecil Sharp House Choir for letting us join them at the Kings Arms pub in Greenwich after their ‘Music of the Sea’ performance at the National Maritime Museum.
